i need BodyBuilding help?

I am experienced in the weightroom and i would like to know some tips for benching and squating. Is it possilbe to increase bench press from 245 to 315 in 5 months and is it possible to increase squat from 335 to 450 in the same amount of time? Please what would you do to get big fast! I dont rely on supplements many just food but mention whatever :) p.s. i am wrestling now so i am doing alot of cardio!

Chosen Answer:

i bench less than 245 but since i still increased my bench i know how i did it it should still work for you unless your already doing what i say.

arch your back, by arching your back your chest is poking up more which means the bar touches your chest easier which means you can do alittle more weight. grip the bar as tight as possible. take a deep breathe before you bench im sure you know that. i herd too increase your bench you should add like 5 pounds or less every week or two. it forces you to get stronger. if that actually works then youll be benching alot in a couple months.
but for me when i started arching my back my bench went up, but increasing the weight little by little is the only way. wait i forgot they say if you got really strong triceps that your bench will increase so get stronger triceps. i dont workout my legs so i can help you on that but im sure adding weight every couple of weeks should help

Tips to commit to saving?

I need to save for college BIG time and I’ve got like maybe 0. I’m kinda like a bodybuilder and the one thing that they don’t tell you about the sport is food costs more than you can squeeze out of your livelyhood. How can I commit to saving and stop buying food?

I mean what do you have to do sign your name in blood; this is a difficult and depressing goal lol. Does it have to come down to college or bodybuilding is that the key?

Chosen Answer:

Set your money into a college savings plan that will invest in mutal funds, there is a penalty to get the money out and you are given tax free savings, when you use the money for college. Very disciplined saving and the pentaly will help keep it there.

Question about toning/ nutrition / bodybuilding?

Well after a couple years of unhealthy weight loss, i decided i want to decrease my body fat percentage, and tone up. I figure the best way to do this is to get some protein powder, bars, and other things, and hit the weights, as well as do some HIIT. I didnt think that focusing on cardio would help tone me up, nor would it allow me to eat as much i would like to. So my question is how should i get started? what should my workout schedule be, how many cups of protein should i have, and what are the effects of protein, i dont want to gain too much weight, but if it means ill be more tone then i want to. I figure four days of lifting and 3 days of HIIT, 1-2 rest days a week. how long should i work out, and what types of HIIT should i do. Also i want to know what supplements i can take that dont make me gain weight, but help tone. ( ex : creatine is not for me ) Any help would be great, or advice tips, workouts, information is much apprecaited, thanks in advance.
PS: im 16 , 6 ft 1 175lb

Here’s the fat loss basics:

1. You need to create a caloric deficit – no two ways about it – you must burn more than you consume. To start I like the old Body Weight x 12 formula for maintenance then lowering it by 500 kcal or 20% (whichever is smaller) and adjust accordingly

2. The most effective way to create that deficit is to use a combination of diet and exercise as you aleardy know

3. Your diet should consist of lean proteins, fruits and vegetables. Keep starches and refined carbs to a minimum. Keep your fluid intake high (water only), and try to eat at least 4-5 small meals per day. This will help maintain blood sugar levels and keep you from blowing your diet. Also have a whey/simple carb carb drink pre, peri, and post resistance workout

4. Exercise – interval training and metabolic resistance training will provide the most bang-for-your buck, and a bodypart training split will be less effective than total body training for fat loss.

5. If your schedule allows try to exercise six days per week – three days of interval based cardio and three days of metabolic resistance training. The metabolic resistance training being more important of the two.

6. Supplements: there is almost nothing that will make a difference. Sorry. Certain supplements can boost metabolism slightly, or increase your energy somewhat and these may be useful – but in terms of real world “pounds of fat lost” I have yet to see anything that really made a difference. A multivitamin and a fish oil supplement are vital though – but more for your overall health. A protein shake or meal replacement powder can be useful for convenience but are nothing more than high quality food.

What Is the best foods for PROTEIN?

I don’t Want to know about suppliments i have read about quite a few and know quite a bit about them but before suppliments came about what is the best food to eat for protein

Also a bonus would be if you could tel me a good bodybuilding tip any1 that you choose or want to add to the answer…

Thanks In Advance

Chosen Answer:

the best foods in my opinion for protein are Salmon, chicken breasts, eggs, beef, tuna, sole.

bodybuilding tip? people train their arms way too much and not hard enough on their back and chest. Most have very poor form on all their back exercises.

your legs should be capable of 2 hard workouts per week and deep squats are essential for good leg development and keeping your knees strong and leg extensions are knee killers so keep the weights low if you do them at all.

can anyone help me with bodybuilding?

i am 17 years old and i am a skinny i want to start building muscle on all my body. aspecially my upper body like my arms chest and back and shoulders lol everything really, so can any give me any tips on how to gain muscle and how many days i should go to the jim a week .also what foods should i eat and how many calories should i be taken in per day as i am still growing aswell!

Chosen Answer:

I would do sets of 10 reps if I were you. Make sure you don’t miss anything, don’t just do the upper body. Squatting builds form all around your body too.

You have to make sure you’re getting good nutrition. Drink a lot of water also and make sure you’re hydrated.

i’m really skinny, is there any tip from which i can build my body fast without taking any bodybuilding pills?

Chosen Answer:

Okay this process takes time. First u need to eat alot, when i say eat alot i really mean ALOT! Okay once u have flesh in other words some fats. U train!! U start doing situps, running. When ur fat its easier to build muscle and when ur musclular after being fat, its easy to become fat again. So keep up and do not slacken. Good luck bro.

Could you give me any tips on how I can give up masturbating and watching pornography altogether?

I am an 18 year old male who is keen to enter bodybuilding and become a better Catholic. I know some people say that masturbation leads to the body producing higher amounts of testosterone (very debatable) which may help build muscle, but for me it completely drains me out and puts me off doing my imperative cardio and weight training sessions. That is not to mention the overwhelming guilt I feel afterwards, the way an addictive drug works. I also come from a Catholic family. And as far as sex goes, although quite a few women find me attractive (tall, eyes, abs etc.), I rather feel at this time that I am too young to have any type of sexual relationship and would prefer to wait until I am married (which probably won’t happen for at least another 7 years).

So, I would be ever so grateful if you could give me a few tips on how to give up porn and masturbation (preferably without wearing a chastity belt). Is there a way that you can block all unsuitable websites from your computer, and what about preventing your vivid imagination and impure thoughts from getting the better of you when you are lying in your bed? At the present time, I have abstained for 2 days, and already I am getting these urges. It is a good thing I am using this site, otherwise I may be doing something else.

Chosen Answer:

My BF says it very simple. Just stop touching your penis exept when you urinate or wash your self. He used to masturbate a lot, but he doesnt do that anymore for years.

Any Tips for the Special K Diet?

I started the Special K Diet on Wednesday, so its been 3 days now, I am 5″5 and I weigh 147 and I want to get down to 125-130, Im going into bodybuilding and I need to take off the weight before I enter any contests. I used to weigh 154 two weeks ago and I worked it off on my own, but the first ten is the easiest.

For breakfast I eat a cup of the cereal w/ a half cup of skim milk, and until lunch I drink the protein water, for lunch I eat the meal bar and some veg or fruit, I go to the gym and work out for 2 hours, and I get on the treadmill for an hour (running 30, walking 30) and for dinner I eat a sandwich w/ some fruit or veg.

I wanted to know if there are any other tips out there? and if u do alot of excersing like I do how much have u lost

Chosen Answer:

that diet isn’t healthy your body needs at least six small meals a day and it needs a lot of protein especially if your going into body building
