Bodybuilding at home?

Hello everybody

First of all i know there are a lot of bodybuilding topics out there but if you could give me some tips i would really appreciate it. I cant go to the gym because it takes up too much spare time and i usually spend a lot of time studying for college. My workout has always been for the upper body. First day 3 exercises and 2 sets for chest, biceps and triceps(mostly dumbbells and pushups) . Second day 5 min exercise for abbs 2 sets, 2 exercises and 2 sets for shoulders and trapezius. Third day exercises of strength for neck and forearms.
Now this is my training i came up by looking around the internet and doing some workouts at my kickbox club. I know this is far from a good training soo my questions are these: What should i change in my workout? More sets and more excercises for different muscles? How many times a week should i train and how much time should i leave for resting? What exercises would you recommend for upper body muscles? Basically I m asking for a workout routine at home and I know im asking a lot. I want definition and a little bit of mass not for women or for sports i just want to feel good in my own body.
Thank you Matthew for your quick answer it is highly appreciated. I want to use this additional details to make myself more clear i want definition and a little bit of mass so i can still remain flexible and fast if i decide to continue training martial arts. Maybe the tittle is a little bit miss leading and for that i apologize i mainly want definition.

i get my bodybuilding advice from scoobys home bodybuilding site.
he is a no BS bodybuilder and he likes to keep the work outs simple with very little equipment.
i posted his teen workout which fits the requirements of your equipment
but maybe some of the other work out videos would be more appealing to you.
if you look at the photos of the people in his contest. i’m pretty sure that they have the kind of body that you are wanting.
i personally like the women’s workout too. it can be done with exercise bands or dumbbells and it’s pretty much a continuous 30min workout.
btw. i’ve been working out in my apt. for 6yrs. i use to go to a gym but i can do a work out at home in less time than it takes to drive to the gym and back.

I would like to help but It would be better to look up a routine online theres loads! Key factor is nutrition!!! Its 80% of muscle gain if you eat correctly, you need to eat more than you need basically BUT this is no excuse to eat bad foods it has to be high in protein and have a balance of good carbs and good fats. Do a different muscle type each day as you will overstrain e.g legs one day back the next. Do heavy weights with lower reps as they build the muscle, you need protein straight after a workout and remember thats how muscles grow they have to repair! so be sure to rest
